The weather of Russia is depend on the region and can be described as highly continental influenced climate with warm to moderate in some areas and very cold in some others areas. Russian climate is continental and has 4 seasons: spring ( march, april, may ), summer ( june, july, august ), autumn ( september, october, november ), and winter ( december, january, february ). However , some part of Russia are significantly very cold and have a very short spring and autumn.

The central european Russian area includes Saint Petersburg and Moscow and it has 4 seasons ( spring, summer, autumn, winter ). The northern parts of Russia have long winter and short duration of summer that last about 2-3 weeks. The far east area gets frequent typhoons. The Russian south near the black sea is warm with a mixed subtropical and continental climate and has 4 seasons ( spring, summer, autumn, winter ).
